Over the past 10 weeks, no high school program in the state of Arkansas has received better strength and conditioning training than Central Basketball.
D1 Training and Tiger Basketball developed a unique partnership for the 2018-19 school year during summer workouts at the Little Rock facility. Since then, the Tigers have worked relentlessly with D1 Training every week from August through the end of October, a 10-week program packed with the most elite training to prepare for the upcoming season.
"We've done our entire preseason strength and conditioning program here at D1," head coach Brian Ross said. "It's been amazing for our guys to workout at this top-notch facility with these top-notch trainers."
Marshall Everett, D1's Head Speed & Strength Coach, has spearheaded the 10-week program, helping the Tigers become quicker, stronger, faster and better athletes. Everett said he is proud of the player's commitment and the personal growth not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally.
"We've seen amazing gains from (working with D1) already and we hope that it pays off with some wins this season," Ross said.
