Central didn't let a two-hour bus ride bring down their energy following a week that saw wins over Cabot and Conway.
The Tigers defeated Fort Smith Southside, 54-49, on the road to earn their third straight conference win.
"It's tough to go on the road and win," said head coach Brian Ross. "We are happy to be able to do it. I'm proud of the guys bouncing back to give us the win."
The Tigers put together a 16-0 run to close out the first half and take a 12-point lead after being down early.
"We got our confidence back when we won the game against Cabot and have played really well since then," Ross said. "We only had one bad game in that stretch. We lost two really close ones. Every night in this league is tough."
Four Tigers scored in double-figures, led by a team-high 17 points from senior guard AJ Williams.
"I'm proud of the way the guys played down the stretch making the shots we needed to win."
Central closes out the first slate of conference games against Catholic at home Friday night.
