Central will face 6A West foes Van Buren and Fayetteville in this year's Bank OZK John Stanton Classic hosted by Conway.
The Tigers open with Van Buren Friday, Dec. 14 at 5 p.m. in Conway High School's Gymnasium. This is the first meeting with the Pointers since the first round of the 6A state tournament in 2014.
On Saturday (Dec. 15), Central takes on Fayetteville at 11 a.m. in Buzz Bolding Arena. The Bulldogs reached the 7A state semifinals in 2018 and are considered the preseason favorite to win the 6A West behind UCA signee Collin Cooper.
The Tigers and Bulldogs last met in this same event in 2016; Central won, 54-47.
